Join us for our Advent Mission  on December 11th, 12th and 13th -12:00 and 6:00 pm- at Sacred Heart Church

1st Night – God’s Love for us & Our Call to Love Each Other

2nd Night – God’s Mercy and Our Call to Forgive

Third Night – Healed by the Spirit and Called to Spread the Good News

12 pm Time:  A shorter talk on the day’s theme will be given by Fr. Peter as the homily for daily Mass.

6 pm Time:  A longer talk by Fr. Peter and Sister Anna will be given on the day’s theme.  Music, prayer and ritual will also be included, but Mass will not be celebrated.

The daytime and evening talks will not be redundant.  All are welcome to attend both sessions each of the three days.

Our Advent Penance Service will be celebrated during the evening session of Day 2.

A communal celebration of the Sacrament of the Sick will be included during the evening session of Day 3.

Christmas Caroling

Help bring the Joy of Christ to the Residents at Robinson Terrace

Please join us for an afternoon of Christmas Caroling on December 16th at 2:00 pm.

We will be meeting at the Robinson Terrace Lobby at 1:45 pm



Bake Sale

Sacred Heart Youth will be selling baked items after Mass on December 16th and 17th to raise money for the March for Life trip to Washington D.C. Please stop by for some yummy treats.


March for Life

The March For Life will be held in Washington D.C. on January 19th and we will again have a bus traveling to this event. The bus will leave Oneonta at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday the 18th, with stops at Sacred Heart in Stamford around 12:00 noon, the Hamden Town Hall around 12:30 p.m. and St. John the Baptist's Church in Walton around 1:00 p.m. We will stop for dinner on the way down and on the way back up. We will be spending Thursday night at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Forestville, Maryland. On Friday morning the Knights will provide us with breakfast and a bag lunch before we get dropped off near the Mall in D.C. The March is in the afternoon and we will head back after a brief rest stop at a local church.
